Hypothesis of Extraterrestrial Origins of Life on Earth and Its Anthropologically-Theological Implications: Rhawn Joseph’s Case

This paper is based on the insights of American brain scientist Rhawn Joseph, representing the “panspermia” theory of the origination of life on Earth. The ideas of this paper, admittedly, are imaginary, belonging if not to complete nonsense, then at least to “science fiction” rather than properly scientific inference. If the “seeds of life” are dispersed throughout the universe, elsewhere life might have evolved much further than on Earth. Creatures evolving billions of years longer than humans would immeasurably surpass our neuronal, intellectual and technological capabilities, appearing as gods to us. The “seeds of life” then might be implanted on Earth by highly-developed extraterrestri…

Metaphysics of The Holy Trinity

2015

Consciousness cannot exist without matter, but for consciousness to flow there needs to be a system in place; organized matter, an assembly of structures which supports the flow of consciousness; governed by a feedback mechanism; but the experience still remains as the hard problem of consciousness. My hypothesis: Access consciousness is present in every cell and grows laterally supporting multicellularity, i.e. access consciousness or sentience is the guiding factor for cell division and growth. Phenomenal consciousness on the other hand triggers cell differentiation, and supports development of organs and its systems e.g. brain; the seat of phenomenal consciousness. Phenomenal consciousne…

A priori knowledge in the teachings of I. Kant, "evolutionary epistemology", "analytical psychology" of K. G. Jung and in the evolution of religions

2017

Šajā darbā es* vēlos ieskicēt pēdējās desmitgadēs strauji attīstījušos izziņas un zināšanu evolucionāras modelēšanas veidu- „evolucionāro epistemoloģiju”, kā arī izmantot tās metodi Kanta (Immanuel Kant) aizsākto aprioro zināšanu un to funkciju skaidrošanā mitoloģisko, reliģisko un zinātnisko zināšanu rašanās un evolūcijas procesā. Darbam pievienota Prof. Vsevoloda Kačāna recenzija.

Soul & Consciousness

2015

It is my view that my soul is my consciousness and my consciousness is my soul. It appears that energy renders my consciousness to surge within me and my soul is a sphere of energy that encases me. Further, it appears that my soul dwell within me until my bodily death and my soul makes me conscious of my existence and all that exist around me. I feel my consciousness for it is my soul. Addressing the ‘how’ of my soul may someday be possible but knowing the ‘why’ of my soul may stay a mystery for it is as mystifying as the supernatural. We may be able to introduce a soul within non-living beings by evoking consciousness artificially, but I am rather sure that these beings may never experienc…

On the Metaphysical Link between Religion & Science

2015

In this article, the author explores the mystery of the soul. “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul” (Mark 8:36). The soul by common definition is the spiritual or immaterial part of a living being, regarded as immortal. To find a possible metaphysical link between religion and science, the author suggests that the soul is the immaterial aspect of electromagnetic energy (“electromagnetic soul”) that can transform but cannot be destroyed. According to this suggestion, the soul attached to a living being fulfills the being’s desire through electromagnetic interactions, and, upon completion, the soul is released through ultra-weak electromagne…

Bohm’s Implicate Order, Wheeler’s Participatory Universe, Stapp’s Mindful Universe, Zurek’s Quantum Darwinism and the Buddhist Mind-Only Ground Consc…

According to quantum physicist Erich Joos the following three issues are the outstanding quantum conundrums of deep significance: 1. The meaning of the wavefunction; 2. The exact nature of the mechanism of the collapse; 3. The connection between the quantum and classical realm. In this paper I shall attempt to elucidate a possible approach to these central issues by drawing parallels between David Bohm’s notion of the implicate order, John Wheeler’s vision of the ‘Participatory Universe’, Henry Stapp’s account of the Heisenberg-von Neumann quantum ‘ontology’, Wojciech Zurek’s ‘Quantum Darwinism’ proposal and the Buddhist Mind-Only (Yogachara–Chittamatra) concept of the alayavijnana, the gro…
